I need to leave
I know I need to leave my husband. I know it's what's best for my daughter. the 50/50 custody would be horrible but not as horrible as the constant cycle of being loved and then rejected so horribly. when my husband and I got married he was actively bettering himself and lowering contact with his family because of this weird rejection dynamic they have that's very unhealthy. it's like every family member is trying to be the least rejected but everyone is some level of rejected and they go off to others complaining about each other, and band together against people outside the family. it's just so weird. but a couple years back he got tired of fighting them and didn't want to go no contact so he caved. and in the time since he's become manipulative, he lies constantly, he left me to my own devices to get help from my mom during multiple medical emergencies, stepping over me as I cried when I was pregnant. and then when I get back from the ER he takes care of me and apologized and cleans the house and spends time with me like he used to. I know it's abuse. I know I need to leave. but over the last year he's slowly improved on some things. he cleans more, he cooks dinner twice a week, he works through a couples therapy app with me. but it's not enough. because he'll never leave his blood family and everytime he's around them he becomes a hateful she'll of himself and I'm disgusted by him. I know this probably doesn't make sense without all the context and I'm just rambling, but I just needed to put it somewhere and maybe have one stranger tell me I need to leave just to boost me enough to pack up to my parents house and serve him papers. anyway thanks for reading
