Ice Skating at NIC/Motopoint Arena

Is there anyone that frequently ice skates at the NIC in Nottingham?

Looking to start learning but have heard it can get quite busy on the weekends and wanted to know from anyone else's personal experience - e.g. best times to go, socials, etc

Nothing against crowds, just suppose it's easier to learn/practice without having to worry about a bunch of others around you and potentially bumping into them!

Also considering lessons once I'm back from my holidays
