updates on my friend who’s trying to hit on me

Hi again, I’m the girl who a few days ago talked about the friend (my friend’s ex) who was trying to hit on me and saying he wanted to kiss me.

Update: Saturday night we all (the whole group) went out together (she was there too, she’s been staying at his place for a few days). We’d been drinking a bit and at some point we were walking around the city and he goes, “I don’t know why but lately I’ve really wanted to kiss you.” His ex was literally walking right in front of us. And no, it’s not like he was trying to make her jealous cause she’s already insanely in love with him.

At first I didn’t say anything, but then I got annoyed and pulled him aside while the others were joking around. And he goes, “I don’t remember what I told you, you know I’m pretty drunk.” I kept saying he definitely remembered, but he just kept giggling and saying he didn’t, so I told him I’m not a shitty person, and he was like, “I know you’re not, sometimes I am though.” Then he admitted he’s attracted to me, that he likes me a lot, and that when he’s drunk he struggles not to act on it.

The next day he called me saying he wanted to talk and that i needed an apology. He wanted to come over, but first he made sure I hadn’t made plans with his ex (who was still staying at his place). He came to my house and said again that he likes me and feels very attracted to me, but that he messed up and can’t keep going like this because we’re friends. I added that he ESPECIALLY can’t do this cause his ex is still in love with him and she’s my friend too and we were kind of agreeing on that.

Then we started talking about random stuff, and at the end he provokes me again and goes, “Btw yesterday I totally remembered what I said, I just wanted to hear you say it. You want the truth? I was playing, I was teasing you. I’m not in love with you, but I like you as a friend, I care about you, and I’m very attracted to you physically. I guess I need to hold myself back.”

Anyway, I cut the conversation there. And then yesterday afternoon she told me he wrote her a poem just a few hours after coming over to my place for those half and fake “apologies”.
