Been digging through the wreckage of 2025-2026 microcaps and stumbled on something that actually made me pause: NextNRG (NXXT). Trading near cash value, but the revenue story is… wild.

Take their mobile fueling business. $22.9M in Q3 alone. For context, they did $27.8M for all of 2024. That’s not incremental growth - that’s basically a different company. December prelims came in around $8M, up 253% YoY. Gross margins aren’t sexy yet, but when top-line acceleration looks like this, it rarely happens by accident.

What really grabbed me was the NeutronX partnership announced February 10th. It’s exclusive and focused on federal energy infrastructure. Federal. And in an election year where infrastructure funding is suddenly everyone’s favorite topic. On top of that, the Topanga Terrace 28-year PPA shows they can actually deliver microgrids, not just pitch them in press releases.

The ugly side? The balance sheet. $653K cash is basically “we need financing yesterday.” Short interest at 15.6% means a lot of smart money is betting against them. So yeah, this isn’t for the faint of heart.

Here’s my thinking: if they can lock in strategic financing (not another dilutive ATM) and show a credible path to profitability by mid-2026, this could easily be a $3-5 stock. If they fail? It could go to zero. Binary? Absolutely. But at $0.65, with that revenue trajectory, the potential upside feels seriously asymmetric to me.
