Garfield and Friends (1988 - 1994). One of the most clever kids' shows ever, thanks in part to Jim Davis's strong vision for the series. As Saturday morning cartoons began to decline in popularity the show was deemed too expensive to produce and was cancelled. Still, 121 episodes is a strong run.
