bloody stomach bug symptoms

hi everyone, I’m so sorry this is going to be TMI. last night I awoke around 1am with horrible cramps and gas, awful sweats and fever, and basically thought I was going to pass out on the toilet. I went to the bathroom 7-8 times last night and had pretty bad diarrhea for all of it. there was a lot of pushing involved. the issue is, after the 5th or 6th time going, there is now blood in my stool. like not from wiping my skin raw, but it’s coming out with my diarrhea…. do I need to be concerned? it’s not actively bleeding but a small amount of watery blood does come out every time I’ve used the bathroom since.
