Need help with my iPod Touch 4 I got secondhand

Hey. I happen to have a iPod touch 4 running iOS 6.0.1 (10A523) in 32 GB. It was working before when i got it and it had many OGs app and recently it died and it won‘t show signs of life when charging with FireWire 30-pin and I wait 30 minutes and nothing happens… any issue with the iPod or not? 😥
