Braidy loop sweater dupe?

Hi,

So I love the look of the braidy loop sweater, more so the body 8x2 body ribbing, although the cable is nice too.

However I've been reading so much negativity of about how deep the yoke is, and that really does put me off. I've only been knitting about a year and never done saddle shoulder or cabling before so don't feel comfortable enough doing modifications.

Does anyone know of any similar patterns? Basically I'm looking for a stockinette pattern with -pazzaz-, something a little different than just a standard stockinette. Or how hard would it be to modify a normal stockinette pattern to be 8x2 rib for the body?
