AI Noob - how much are you guys spending?

Hey everyone, as titled mentions, I’m an ai noob who’s trying to lean in and learn more.

I stumbled across openclaw this weekend and have been doing a ton of research about setting up my own agent. My question is how much does all of this cost?

My dusty laptop doesn’t start up and I’m all good with dropping 5-700 on a Mac mini.. I’ll get other uses out of it if I can get openclaw to work.

How much are yall spending on ai credits? Can I get by with just a $20 gpt pro subscription or getting codex? (I think it’s already included? Again noob 😅)

I know this is a loaded question.. I’d like to get beyond the personal assistant and build a digital employee who can help me build a website, app or business.

I have no experience in doing any of this. How feasible and how much money are you guys spending who are doing this?

Not really interested in paying $200/mo for Claude just to try and learn ai.

Any insight, tips, or pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated!
