Episode(s) recommendations where everything is going wrong in someone's life?

Hello everyone,

I'm really going through it right now. I'm dealing with a lot and today feels extremely overwhelming. I got laid off last year and ended up in a new job where the workplace is incredibly toxic. I took a major pay cut just to have a job which has caused my finances to suffer. I made a connection with someone who works at my dream company and they promised to contact me with information so I can submit my resume for open positions. However, they have not done so yet and I'm worried they won't. There are other things going on personally, too, that is just getting to be too much.

During situations like this I lean on God/Jeus because He's my only stability when things get rough. Can anyone recommend an episode (or more) that deals with your world crashing down around you, hopelessness, and other things along those themes? I'm also open to any Scripture or Bible stories that I can meditate on when things get tough.
