[CobblemonEclipse] [Cobblemon 1.7.3 - Fabric] [play.cobblemoneclipse.com]

We launched CobblemonEclipse back in June and what started as a small group of friends turned into something we didn't expect. We're sitting at about 20-40 concurrent players at peak hours now, and the thing that keeps people coming back is the tournament structure we've built.

Every 2-3 weeks we run a tournament on Saturday. Last month we had 55 people online for it and held solid 20 TPS the entire time. That's not a hype number, that's what actually happened. We run different formats each time so it stays fresh, and people take it seriously enough that there's actually competition but casual enough that new players can jump in and not feel completely outmatched.

What makes it work is having the infrastructure to support it. We're on a dedicated box that's sized properly for these events. We also run events 4 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday unless we're doing a tournament) so there's always something happening. Build competitions, outbreak events, mini games, seasonal content, stuff like that. Between tournaments people have stuff to work toward.

The server itself has the standard Cobblemon endgame content you'd expect. Safari Zone, daily dungeons, Area Zero, raids, breeding, research tasks. But we also have custom fakemon that you won't find on other servers, which adds a layer to the pokedex grind. Radiant shinies if you want shinies to actually look shiny. Mega evolutions, alphas, legendaries, the whole thing.

We've also integrated vanilla mobs and biomes (Terralith and Nullscape) so it doesn't feel like you're just playing a Pokemon game, it feels like Pokemon in Minecraft. You can build bases, claim land with Flan, actually interact with the world beyond catching and battling.

Monetization wise, we run it anti-pay-to-win. Crates are earned by playing, not bought. You don't get Pokemon from the shop, you don't get gameplay advantages from spending money. Most of what's on the shop benefits the entire server anyway, stuff like raid resets and shiny boost events. We ran community polls about what people consider fair when we were starting out and we've stuck to that.

The community has settled in at a decent size. We have people with 1000+ hours played, which tells you the content holds up. New players filter in pretty regularly, especially after tournaments when people see 55 people online and think "okay there's actually something here."

If you're looking for a Cobblemon server that actually maintains player momentum with consistent events and competitive tournaments without the pay-to-win nonsense, this is worth a shot. We're actively hosting, actively adding seasonal content, and the tournament schedule gives people a reason to grind between sessions.
