Central Coast Council just closed Lakehaven Cinema – we need to save it!
Hey fellow movie lovers,
Lakehaven Cinema on the Central Coast has been closed by the council, even though the operators have fought for years to keep it running. This isn’t just a building – it’s where locals see their first blockbuster, spend time with friends and family, and keep cinema culture alive in the area.
It’s heartbreaking to see a community cinema shut down instead of being supported. The seating could be upgraded, the screens modernised – it’s not beyond saving, it just needs investment.
If you care about keeping local cinemas alive and accessible, sign the petition to push for Lakehaven Cinema to reopen: [Insert Petition Link]
No streaming service can replace the experience of a local cinema – let’s make sure this one survives.
