Update on Malaysian instant noodle crate box - Shopify store or manual PayPal invoice?

So everyone have know and also been following this journey of Malaysian instant noodles crate... and now i am at my almost final way of getting everything done before launching everything!! i am still wondering whether should i use Shopify or a manual invoice Paypal ?

As for right now I’m planning to release a very small founder batch (around 15 boxes or more) just to to see and make sure the logistics work smoothly(shipping is the hardest to do for this but we will get through all of that

Option 1:

Create a basic Shopify store so customers can order directly from a website for preorder method

Option 2:

Keep it simple and send manual PayPal invoices to people who preorder through Reddit/Instagram for preorder method.

I’m wondering also if Shopify might be overkill for now. At the same time, having a proper store might look more professional.

Would really appreciate hearing how others handled their first preorders!! help me out guys...
