Anyone else passing out more in recent years?

Question

so ive had pots symptoms since age 13 , on and off in severity, but pretty textbook symptoms that arent anemia, deficiencies or anything else.

but in the past I have only truly fainted veeery few times and it was when I was eating a lot of sugar before I knew about pots, getting blood drawn, and the usual dizzy and black vision when standing up but not full pass out.

however post 2025 I have passed out six times so far and they are more serious long lasting episodes. usually I am feeling symptomatic before, and often emotional stress is involved, but I will fully go black and hit the floor. my limbs all go numb and cold and tingly and weak to the point its hard to move them. im often hyperventilating and my heart racing when I come back to consciousness....and feel catatonic for hours after even next day. takes a while to feel semi normal again. and it happens so suddenly, even if I am hydrated/not hungry/not dizzy before/not in hot weather.

its gotten very unpredictable now after I passed out at grocery store last night and it took 40 minutes for people to help me walk again. I am at the point of wondering if its just POTS anymore or something else (or pots and something else). but I havent had health insurance since August 2024 to go get checked out, and have big medical debt from an ambulance ride last summer sadly. im gonna try again to apply for something though.

my only other thought is maybe my fourth covid infection fundamentally changed things and affected my pots and body in some way I dont know. the first two pass outs of 2025 were after a covid infection. I took paxlovid thankfully but I had a lot of cardiac symptoms. it also seemed like emotional stress, especially cptsd triggers, are at play here. I went through significant emotional stresses pre 2025 though but never passed out from that. no idea.

curious if anyone else has experienced similar types of pass outs and worsening nervous system dysregultion in recent years? or noticed a correlation with covid?
