Family friendly community recommendations?

I'm moving to Sarasota with my husband, toddler, and baby this Spring and we are looking to rent in a family friendly community. Does anyone have any recommendations? Ideally with a nice pool, playground, walking trails. We were particularly interested in Lakewood Ranch or Palmer Ranch areas. Thanks! Bonus if it's near a good preschool :)
