Coming off nortriptyline 10 mg

Hello,

I’ve been on nortriptyline for migraine prevention for about 4 months now. I do think it helped at first, but not enough for me to continually keep my heart rate elevated like it currently is. My neuro told me to come off of it, but didn’t recommend how. I figured I’d just stop because it’s already low dose and I can’t split the pills, but I’ve read some horror stories on here.

I’m a PhD student in STEM. I don’t have down time in my schedule right now. I need to figure out how to do this without losing productivity.

Do I cold turkey it during spring break and just bite the bullet for a week? Or is this a really bad idea?

I don’t want to draw this out for too long, and I just don’t know what’s best.

I have a feeling it’ll be rough. When I am a couple hours late, my chest gets tight.
