Higher Ups Resigning in a Cybersec MSSP/MDR Environment
Hello po, fresh grad here and this is my first job. For the past few months, I’ve noticed several higher-ups in our company resigning one by one. Today, my closest mentor — the person who basically trained and shaped me into a SOC analyst (I have less than 1 year of experience) — told me that he’s also resigning.
Honestly, I don’t know what to feel. I’m shocked and a bit lost because siya talaga yung naging guide ko since I started. Parang biglang nawala yung safety net ko at work.
Now I’m starting to wonder… is this a normal thing in companies, especially in tech/cybersecurity, or is this a possible red flag about the company itself?
For those who’ve experienced something similar early in their careers, how did you handle it? Should I be worried or just treat this as part of normal workplace turnover?
