Leak Check Question

I have a Fujitsu slim duct MiniSplit that has a leak. The system is 7 years old and has been leaking for a few years and I usually recharge it and it is good for a year or so. I have tried to use a sniffer in the past with little success

Lately the leak seems to be getting worse.

I recharged the system and added UV dye in November and by Jan it was reporting a high discharge temperature which in the past has meant it was low on refrigerant. The fittings are not leaking and the outdoor unit is not showing any UV when I look inside.

The system holds 2lb 14 oz so I would guess it has lost over 16 oz in 8 weeks. That would be 2 oz per week.

How hard should it be to find a 2 oz/week leak with a sniffer? Is this a "major" leak that should send the sniffer into overload?
