Should I respec and multiclass my Rogue to Fighter

I have a level 8 thief rogue, just got to moonrise towers recently, and I use him as a dual wield melee rogue. Should I multiclass him to fighter to get an extra attack and action surge? Or leave him be? This I my first play through.
