I have 40 Jewels. What should i spend it on as a f2p player?

I get all my jewels from eggs and plan to keep it that way. I’m tempted to buy the permanent souls upgrade, but I am simply wondering if that’s the right call.

I’ll be Ultra Ascending soon, will i unlock something better to buy? Should i keep saving them or can i spend them?
