My partner (30f) asked me why I’d (35m) become friends with a girl of instagram. We’ve been together over 2 years. What would you advise I do?

My partner asked me why I’d become friends with a woman on instagram to which I replied she added me as she wanted to inquire about purchasing livestock (I’m a farmer) she said that’s rubbish’s to which I responded with a screen shot of the messages between us, she apologised as she’d deleted me and blocked me on social media and WhatsApp before even letting me explain.

I met with her a few days later and we went on a walk and she asked me to see the messages I told her I’d deleted them and taken her off instagram as we didn’t end up selling anything to her and so I didn’t know her there was no point keeping her as a friend.

She thought this was weird and wanted to see the messages on my phone, she then made me send this woman a message saying I had calves I knew of to sell if she was interested and wanted me to show her the reply. I was with her for a few hours and she didn’t reply she then replied when I got home about 11pm I screenshotted the message and sent it to her in the morning saying I’m deleting the message I need at least a little bit of trust in the relationship and felt a screenshot was good enough to prove me doing nothing wrong, the message the woman replied was all above board in response to what I’d written to her. She basically said it just doesn’t add up and she can’t trust me. I understand maybe I should of shown the message but at the end of the day I want some trust in the relationship that a screenshot is way better than word of mouth and I went above what I needed to do. She has it in her head she wants to see it on my phone.

What does it look like from somebodies perspective outside the relationship?
