Help and advice for getting to the West Rim Trailhead at Lava Point

My three friends and I are hiking the west rim trail starting on the morning of this upcoming March 24th. We saw that Zion Adventures has a shuttle for $55 dollars per person but we are looking for a cheaper option. Does anyone know of cheaper options to get to Lava Point from Springdale. Also, if you happen to be going to Lava Point that day, would you be willing to coordinate to drive our group up there. We are willing to pay for the gas. Thank you for the help!
