Skincare-Focused Makeup Recs?

Recommendation

Hi! 31F looking to swap out some things in my makeup bag. I recently came across videos about "French girl makeup", have been using some of the techniques, and find that it's much more flattering for my aging skin than my previous routine in which I'd completely cover my face with foundation and go from there.

Instead of my usual IT Cosmetics CC+ Matte foundation, I've been using Live Tinted Hueguard Glotion Mineral Sunscreen. It's okay, but doesn't cover blemishes the best, so I still have to work a little concealer in to some areas of my face.

I want to add, I'm really liking liquid products for my skin - everything from skin tint to blush, eyeshadow, etc. I do have some trouble getting them to stay "fresh" looking though (i.e. my blush dulls after a few hours of wear if I don't set with a powder blush - maybe that's normal? Idk).

Would something like Perricone MD be worth it? Are there better options at a lower price point? What is everyone liking?
