Studio Rent Price in Boston??

Does anyone know what a realistic price for a studio in Boston would be, ideally 1st floor?
I'm seeing studios go for around 1900 in Allston, Dorchester, Mattapan area. There are some studios for 1700-1600 but those seem like scams, but maybe I could negotiate the others.
