Total Lunar Eclipse Early March 3rd
In Florida, the eclipse begins at 3:44 a.m. ET, when the Earth’s shadow starts to creep across the moon. Totality — when the moon is fully covered — will arrive at 6:33 a.m., just minutes before sunrise at 6:43 a.m. Look low on the western horizon and slightly to the south for the best view.
Because totality happens so close to sunrise, most Florida residents may not see the moon completely covered.
