Looking for some advice!

I came back from my honeymoon as first time all inclusive resort with great ratings and was expensive imo. I’m not naming the resort, but we were there for 10 days. The experience overall was great. Until Day 9, the remainder of our cash was stolen and a pair of earrings.

My question is, do I file a report with resort? Or is it a waste of time? Secondly, do I just leave a review instead?

I just want any sort of accountability. I’m optimistic as family members have given feedback of and Reddit in general sounds like common occurrences across all resorts. TIA
