Need reassurance...

I have been clean for 2 years. I was physically incapable to cut deep enough to bleed, so I would really only end up scratching my skin, no matter how hard I tried.

I don't have visible scars. The only time they can even be seen is if I get a bit tanned during the summer, and even then, you'd have to pay close attention to notice. Though I think only I notice them, because I remember exactly where the cuts were, and I can see the small difference in the skin. But yeah, basically I don't have scars, and that's good, I know.

But... I don't know. Everyone who has ever struggled with self-harm always seems to have scars, but I'm the only one (that I know personally and online, but I hope I'm not the only one) that doesn't. It just feels like I can't really say I struggled with it, even though I remember how addicted I was to it and how difficult it was to stop. It was a miracle that I even managed that.

Am I still valid despite not having scars (or at least, not ones that are easily seen)?
