Backing material for laying floor tiles

I have am in the process of arranging for my bathroom floor to be re-tiled due to adhesive on previous floor tiles failing and the grout cracking. What would be the best material to lay porcelain tiles onto - jackoboard or ditra mat? Or both together? Or something else?
