Finally found a good hair removal cream!

General Discussion/Question

Before yesterday, I hadn't shaved my legs in over 3 years. I have multiple physical disabilities that prevent me from being able to do basic functions on a daily basis, so things like finding spoons for shaving my legs every 3 days cuz the cactus phase sucks, was literally impossible.

I gave in and tried wakase (made by 2 hairy men 😂) and it's actually really good. The smell while it sits is a lil off, won't lie, but NOTHING like the ACTIVE ROTTING EGG smell like every other brand I've tried. And after 9 mins on my legs, NO HAIR. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS WITHOUT CUTS OR RAZOR BUMPS.

Pros;

smells pretty good right out of the bottle and after rinsing. My skin didn't smell like eggs for the next 5 showers!

Easy to apply, just rub it on and wait. No crazy acrobatics in the shower anymore.

No dryness, redness, or bumpiness like with shaving, and no pain or aftercare needed like with waxing.

It's safe for the whole body, including face and intimate areas unlike some other ones I've tried.

It's also vegan, so that's a win I think? Or can be?

Cons;

The smell while it sits is a mild egg smell. Not the best, but tolerable and worth it for the results.

The wiping process is a bit messy, but I ended up just wiping a bit off with a damp towel to make sure it sat long enough, and then hopped in the shower and rinsed the rest off.

No I'm not sponsored. Highly recommend for us skin sensory sensitive and chronically ill/mobility impaired autistics.
