My 2nd attempt at the CBT was thrilling! But God was I scared!
So I made a post last week, worried about my 2nd attempt at the CBT after failing quite miserably, I mean it was my first time ever riding, and its a manual too.
This week, I finally got control of my throttle, the road drive was quite nerve-wracking at first, and then got easier, roundabouts were a bit finnicky but because theirs a roundabout every 2 minutes (or so it felt like) i got them in the bag quickly.
My instructor took me around all the urban areas and quiet back roads, until without warning threw me onto the dual carriageway with no warning, I almost shat myself if im honest, the light little CB125F was being swayed like crazy in the high wind, every second felt like forever, the wind throwing me left and right. I will admit it was the most thrilling (yet feeling like i was gonna die) experience in my life so far.
My slow driving (2-3mph) is still in my opinion really rough, not a fan of U-turns anyway, though weirdly my figure 8s were great, so Im sure it'll come in time.
The most important thing is I passed!!
I really feel like a biker now, sure its a 125 with L plates, but its a manual, so a decent start, and personally, Ive timed it well as the weather is starting to get nice again.
I'll be waving at you guys on the roads!
