Feedback on a ₹10k 7-inch 7-Color E-Ink Desk Dashboard

I'm developing a hardware/software project to fill the e-ink market gap of a desk widget setup. It is a 7-inch portable display focused on productivity and decor.

The Product:

• Hardware: 7-inch, 7-color e-ink screen with 7+ days of battery life.
• Connectivity: Controlled and updated via a smartphone app using Bluetooth (and wifi).
• Target Price: ₹9,000 – ₹10,000 (potentially with a subscription option).

Primary Widgets:

• Live Calendar and Meeting sync.
• To-do lists and Task tracking.
• Quotes display.
• Photos slide.
• Weather and Call notifications.

The Problem: Most e-ink devices in India are either basic e-readers or luxury frames. This is a dedicated "glanceable" dashboard to keep you off your phone.

Is a ₹10k "Smart Paper" display something you would actually use on your desk, or is the refresh rate of color e-ink (approx. 30s) a dealbreaker for these widgets?

PS: I know this is not for everyone. Just targeting WFH employees or someone who is in love with their desk setup
