Just had surgery and am now left alone with my 6 month old energetic puppy

Just had surgery 5 days ago. Up until now I’ve had my mom around to help me out with my 6 month old Bernedoodle. Shes leaving today and now I’m going to have to take care of him by myself. I feel so bad because I can’t really walk much or play with him much just due to me trying to heal from this surgery. I really don’t know what to do with him during this time and I’m worried that he’s just going to be bored or sad right now… I especially feel bad because he’s super energetic and wants to play a lot. I don’t know whether to ask my mom to take him for a few days (but then I feel like an awful dog mom) or keep him here and try my best with making sure he’s okay.
