Friends?

hi all,

I've been here just over 3 years and haven't made any friends. The fact that I WFH doesn't help, so here I am!

About me, female, gay, in a relationship (so not looking for anything other than friendship), I have a dog and love animals. I work in the video game industry and I love technology, travel, mechanical keyboards, books, hiking, reading, sci fi (books, movies), food, fishing, writing, learning new things (languages, etc) going to a cottage and chillin', and of course -- video games. I'm not a big drinker, but do enjoy the occasional beer. I'm very friendly, super down-to-earth, intelligent, kind, thoughtful and able to maintain a friendship. I've had most of my friends for well over 20 yrs (all back in Toronto). I love a good laugh and one of my best traits is my sense of humour.

I'd love to meet folks between 30-60 (note: I'm not being ageist, so it's fine if you're older or younger, but we may not have as much in common :P). I don't care about your gender, identity, religion, ethnicity or politics (for the most part, unless you're a Trump fan, in which case we probably won't have much in common :) I’m unapologetically nerdy—but I’ve also got a pretty laid-back, social side. I’m basically the intersection of 'can explain the physics of a warp drive' but knows where to find the nicest patios in town.

Warning: My sense of humour is top-tier, but my internal 'is this politically correct?' sensor is permanently broken. Seeking fellow humans who prioritize a good laugh over being proper. If you appreciate humour that it sometimes irreverent and outside the lines, we’ll get along famously!
