Impreza Handling

I just got a 2019 Impreza Premium Sedan at the beginning of Feb to replace my Sentra of the same year. My work 2019 forester is up to 304 on the clock so it was a no brainer to get a Subaru. I just have one question about my Impreza. What dark magic is gluing this thing to the road? I’m on Continental VikingContact 7s atm and I went to a big open parking lot yesterday and fairly unsuccessfully tried to get it to understeer. It simply would not. Is this just a Subaru thing or was I overly cautious in my Sentra which handled like a small canoe.🛶
