Has anyone talked to their psychiatrist about limerence

To me it seems to be a chemical imbalance. When I have a crush on someone, I cannot eat or sleep and it drives me insane. I met someone (thankfully requitted.) However, the beginning stages were torture.

I talked to my psychiatrist today about it and she doesn't know. I am wondering if anyone here has had treatment. I just want to be normal.
