Coast or work hard?

I came 2nd place in interviews for a job that has:

£80k salary

£5k car allowance

15% bonus

2-3 days WFH

Their preferred candidate has rejected them as they won’t allow him to work from abroad. They are likely to offer me the role, rather than having to go out and interview again.

My dilemma is whether to take the role or not? I am perfectly happy in my current role, coasting along with plans to retire at 50:

£62.5k salary

10% bonus

1 day WFH (I do 2 regardless)

Even in the office, my current role is very relaxed and I can chill out. In comparison, the new job is a manager position that is high-paced and can involve unpaid overtime in busy periods.

I am not ambitious, my only driving factors for the new role are:

More money, so can retire faster/fatter

More WFH, which I prefer

Scared of AI, so advancement would help mitigate that risk

I am 29 years old and work as a chartered accountant. I have also only been at my current role for 1 year 8 months, but progression opportunities are limited. If the world was in a still state where nothing changes, I would certainly coast my current job for the next 20 years. But as we all know, that’s not the case.

That’s why I’d love some opinions from other perspectives I may not have considered
