8K VR 180 Videos Now Working for both M5 and M2 Versions of the Apple Vision Pro

Last week, I dropped some ultra-high-fidelity 8K VR 180 travel experiences, but the newly released YouTube Vision Pro app decided to glitch out for many of you.

The good news? The glitches are gone, and we are officially back in business.

These videos are filmed in true 8K VR 180. They aren't designed to be passively watched—they are designed to make you feel like you are physically standing there. Here is your ultimate VR travel itinerary depending on your device:

🟢 Apple Vision Pro (M5 version) You can now watch these directly inside the native YouTube app. I highly recommend experiencing them in this order:

🟡 Apple Vision Pro (M2 version) You still get an incredible experience. You can watch the exact same 8K videos using DeoVR, either via the app or your Vision Pro browser:

🛑 Important (Do not skip this) Both YouTube and DeoVR will try to default to a lower resolution. You must manually click the gear icon and force the quality to 8K. It is a night-and-day difference in clarity, depth, and realism.

💡 I'd love your feedback! Take the trip and let me know in the comments:

  1. Which location felt the most immersive?
  2. Where in the world should I film next?
  3. Should I keep investing the time to create these ultra-high-fidelity VR 180 experiences?
