Gone for over a year. How's cyrodiil?

Been thinking about giving the love/hate relationship with eso a chance for a weekend or so. Mostly a pvp player, mostly a cyrodiil player. 1-5vX mostly. I see new update with a bunch of changes to monetization. I know they also added subclasses a while back. So, honest question with honest answers appreciated: is it worth to even bother? If its still as bad and dwindling as it was a year and a half ago, ill let my nostalgia go. If its in any way fun, ill give it a chance.
