Off speed recording at 5fps with the pocket 4k, the playback freezes after a few seconds

When off speed recording and setting the fps to 5, the playback will start as it should but then freeze after a few seconds. This happens in the 4k's playback and in a timeline. Why is this? (For context I'm using this fps because I'm using a pinhole lens)
