Just diagnosed-any tips or tricks for me?
Just got a diagnosis of POTS from a neurologist. I'm glad to know what has been going on with me for over a decade.
Doctor gave some recommendations. 12 Oz gatorade a day, salty snack before bed, walk 30 mins a day if I can, no high fructose corn syrup, no more that 5g sugar per food, increase protein, lower carbs. And he told me to check my bp and heart rate laying, sitting and standing in the morning.
He made a referral to cardiology for medication.
Besides those tips from the neurologist, what have you guys found helps you? It is interfering with my life in a significant way and I'm looking for all the help I can get.
