Blank transcript and identity validation

My return was accepted on February 4. My transcript is still blank. I called today. The representative said that I have been selected for identity validation. I'll get a letter in 14 days asking for validation.

Odd. Never happened before. Same filing status, name and address for more than 15 years. None of the PATH-targeted credits.

This is not a question. I'm sharing my experience.
