Boutique Event Timer Jumped After Purchase – Has This Happened to Anyone Else?
I need to know if anyone else has experienced this because something does not add up.
Yesterday, I purchased a pack through Tycoon Club with approximately five minutes remaining on the Boutique event timer. The payment processed in under a minute, and the items were credited to my account instantly.
However, when I returned to the main game screen, the Boutique timer suddenly showed about 38 seconds remaining. The Boutique Café event and the Class event were originally on the same countdown. After I made the purchase, the timers were no longer aligned.
Support told me the items were credited at 7:57:45 PM UTC and the event closed at 7:59 PM UTC, meaning I technically had 75 seconds left. They suggested it may have been a “merchant delay,” but there was no delay in processing. The items appeared immediately.
My issue is this:
- The timer displayed about five minutes remaining when I made the purchase.
- I was effectively left with just over a minute to use what I bought.
- The countdown visibly changed after the transaction.
Has anyone else seen the event timer jump like this?
Is the in-game timer not synced with server time?
Does the Boutique event sometimes close earlier than the displayed countdown?
Has anyone successfully received a refund in a similar situation?
I am trying to determine whether this is a sync issue, a UI glitch, or something else. Any insight would be appreciated.
