05 Silverado

So I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 z71. My main problem right now is that I have no power surging through the truck. No crank no start and no sign of electricity. I replaced the battery and still nothing. A buddy of mine complained that it was a fuse but I’m not a mechanic and barely know what I’m doing. Any suggestions or pointers?
