Working for non Canadian company while being on close work permit in canada

Hello,

I am currently in Canada on a closed work permit. I recently received an opportunity to work remotely for a company located in my home country. My question is am I allowed to work for them while I am on a closed work permit? The company does not have any ties or customer base in Canada.

If I am allowed to work, can I count that work experience after completing one year, simultaneously while working in Canada as well?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
