Remember the smell of a new Strawberry Shortcake doll, fresh from the package? How fortuitous it felt to find The Smurfs happily trotting along - \_la la lala la laaaaaaa\_ - your television screen at 7am while you were awake, but everyone else was still asleep? Mmmm - those were childhood “golden hours,” for sure. Perhaps breakfast was you balancing some Honey Nut Cheerios on your Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper, a.k.a. "TV tray." Maybe a family doggo joined you. And maybe, just maybe, you were still wearing your Care Bears pajamas and accessorizing with hot pink legwarmers (because Flashdance was thebombdotcom).

Wait.

\_Shhhh!\_ Perhaps that last tidbit of information was specific just to me. Blushes. I was a nerd. Still am. Are you - were you - a nerd, too? If so, you might consider checking out X Chat - the place for Gen X. We're a group of intrepid weirdos of a certain age - 40-60 years old - who aren't dead yet. And we like to talk. Commiserate. Shoot the proverbial shit.

The vibe is “kindness, first.” Inclusive. Open-minded. Our men-only room discusses practical matters like “How does one rent a hotel room while maintaining OPSEC?” and our women-only room offers support and gentle guidance from folks who have been there, seen it, done that, and gotten the t-shirt several times over. We pick you up when you falter and we celebrate your triumphs.

Wanna hang out? Hope so! Check out our deets, below, and let's get this party started! No time like the present...
