Horrible LOD at a distance.

I used BethINI, I modified the SkyrimINI and SkyrimPrefINI files in the Documents folder, in MO2, even in the game folders, and even then my LODs are horrible at a distance. I also changed some INI files that BethINI doesn't change, but nothing that would ruin the game. No grass at a distance, trees, terrible terrain at a distance. Is it only possible to fix this with DynDoLod? I didn't want to use DynDoLod because I don't know how to use it; I tried for more than half an hour, but it was getting annoying.
