Help a dummy pick a low maintenance grinder [$300]
Hi,
I'm a dope who has no idea what he's doing.
I recently bought a Gaggia Pro and a DF54.
The first few grinds went smoothly, but then the DF 54 started clogging and now every day its a 50/50 shot if its just going to work or if I'm gonna spend an extremely messy hour screwing with the damn grinder. Every morning its like Anton Chigurh walks in my kitchen and asks me, "What's the most you ever lost on a coin toss?" only I wish he'd just hit me with the cattle thingy because not getting my coffee is a fate worse than death.
Obviously, I'm returning the DF54.
What do you recommend in the $300-ish price range that prioritizes ease of use and low maintenance.
I'm desperately seeking advice from the 'I've never cleaned this thing in my life and it just works' kind of guys.
