I think I got really good at snowboarding the wrong way. Now I need tips

Riding question

So basically I stopped snowboarding for a decade and started back up a few years ago. I just used all the old gear I had from the prior decade and ran with it. I got pretty good the last few years I can do most terrain but after my boots basically fell apart I got some new ones they are definitely better than my old ones but I’m realizing my old ones were so flimsy that I was basically snowboarding in timberlands. I think I got very used to the extra mobility my ankles had that just isn’t there anymore because the new boots are so stiff. I’m specifically struggling with my toe side. Would love some insight if anyone has any. I ride with my front binding at 15degrees and my back one at zero if that helps at all.
