Family courts need to start favoring fathers instead of mothers because mom's boyfriends or new husband are more likely to sexually abuse her children then dad's girlfriend or new wife. The reverse is rare because women don't commit child SA as much as men do.

Research has shown that, in some samples, 17% (nearly 1 in 6) of women who had a stepfather in their household during childhood were sexually abused by him, compared to 2% (1 in 40) by a biological father.
