Cvs "AS" air support function

How often would you use this function or in what scenario would you use it? I'm talking about for a patient, not your usual helping out other stores.

Would you use it anytime for anything that is stuck in another store and you have to manually go pull it over or would you contact or have patient contact the original store? For antibiotics? controlled meds?

do you have pt reach out to original store because it can take a few minutes to "AS" or do you go out of your way to use the function?
